Job summary

Focal Point Medical Staffing is seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist to provide evaluations and therapy in New York City-area schools. You will develop IEP-aligned treatment plans and deliver services on-site during school hours, either individually or in groups.

Applicants must hold an active NY OT license and NYSED registration, with at least one year of professional OT experience. Collaboration with educators and families is essential to support student independence and learning

Qualifications

• Active New York State license and NYSED registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• Minimum of one year of professional experience in OT.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluations and individualized therapy within your licensed discipline.
• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with IEPs.
• Deliver services on-site during school hours, individually or in groups.
• Complete evaluations, treatment notes, and progress reports in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related-service providers.
• Participate in IEP and student planning meetings when required.
• Recommend strategies and adaptive equipment to support participation.
