Job summary

MIYO Health is seeking a Texas-licensed Occupational Therapist to join a school district partner in Channelview, Texas, just outside of Houston. This is a full-time, in-person contracted position beginning in early January 2027 and continuing through late May 2027.

Mileage between locations is reimbursed and you may travel between campuses as needed. You will provide direct and consultative OT services, complete evaluations, monitor progress, develop IEP goals, and participate in IEP meetings

Qualifications

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
Current Texas Occupational Therapist license.
NBCOT certification.
School based or pediatric experience preferred.
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
Ability to travel between school locations within the district as needed.

Responsibilities

Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students based on their IEPs.
Complete evaluations, progress monitoring, and required documentation.
Develop and monitor IEP goals related to occupational therapy needs.
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and other members of the school team.
Travel between assigned school locations as needed.
