Job summary

MIYO Health is seeking a Texas-licensed Occupational Therapist to join a school district partner in Channelview, Texas, just outside of Houston. This is a full-time, in-person contracted position beginning in early January 2027 and continuing through late May 2027.

Mileage between locations is reimbursed and you may travel between campuses as needed. You will provide direct and consultative OT services, complete evaluations, monitor progress, develop IEP goals, and participate in IEP meetings

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current Texas Occupational Therapist license.
• NBCOT certification.
• School based or pediatric experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to travel between school locations within the district as needed.

Responsibilities

In Person Occupational Therapist (OT) - Channelview, Texas

Full Time | Contract Position | January through May 2027 | Houston Area

MIYO Health is looking for a Texas licensed Occupational Therapist to join one of our school district partners in Channelview, Texas, just outside of Houston.

This is a full time, in-person contracted position beginning in early January when students return from winter break and continuing through the end of the school year in late May.

If you're looking for a school based opportunity with full time hours but don't necessarily want to commit to an entire school year, this could be a great fit!

What You'll Do

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students based on their IEPs
• Complete evaluations, progress monitoring, and required documentation
