Job summary

AIM — Assessment Intervention Management (AIM) seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist for a 1099 independent contractor role serving Texas public schools. You’ll control your caseload and calendar, with travel to multiple campuses and documentation in AIM's in-house system.

Provide school-based OT services, supervise COTAs as engaged, and contribute to staff trainings. A background check is required, and a valid Texas OT license with a driver's license is needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy, licensed to practice in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based occupational therapy services in accordance with each district's service delivery model.
• Maintain accurate, comprehensive documentation of all services provided.
• Provide clinical supervision to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) as engaged.
• Develop and deliver in-service and training sessions for staff and families.
• Support OT students and affiliates as opportunities arise.
• Ensure documentation meets Federal, State, and local funding and compliance requirements.
• Support students with physical disabilities, including lifting, transferring, and positioning.
