Job summary

ConnectedHealth is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a 36-week contract in Richmond, TX. The role supports students through occupational therapy services, collaborating with school staff to develop individualized education programs (IEPs).

You will conduct assessments and interventions, document progress, and participate in team meetings to coordinate care and educational goals. The ideal candidate has a TX OT license, at least 1 year of school-based OT experience, and strong communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent degree/license is required.
• Valid OT license in Texas is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist in a school setting.
• Strong understanding of school-based therapy protocols and documentation.
• Resume and valid license required.
• Ability to work days, with a schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
• Must have excellent communication skills, adaptability, and a team-oriented mindset.
• Physical ability to perform occupational therapy services within a school environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with school staff to develop individualized education programs (IEPs) for students requiring occupational therapy services.
• Provide direct occupational therapy assessments and interventions to students in need.
• Document student progress and maintain compliance with school and state regulations.
• Participate in team meetings to coordinate care and educational goals.
• Advocate for student needs to promote optimal developmental and educational outcomes.
