Job summary

Boston Speech Therapy, a woman-SLP-owned company based in Boston, is seeking a dedicated full-time Occupational Therapist to work in a school setting.

You will assess students, develop and implement individualized plans, collaborate with teachers and families, and provide direct therapy per IEPs.

This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $75–$85 and a 1099 contract, with emphasis on manageable caseloads and supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Current licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist in Massachusetts is required.
• Experience working in school settings preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators and parents and to manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assess students’ physical, emotional, and developmental needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support students' success.
• Provide direct therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs.
• Monitor and report on student progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary.
