Job summary

Fairbanks North Star Borough School District is seeking an Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidate will evaluate students, develop therapy programs, and coordinate services based on Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Applicants must possess or be eligible for an Alaska Type C special services certificate and hold a valid Occupational Therapy license.

This position comes with a $2,000 signing bonus, a minimum contract length of 180 days, and an excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Must possess or be eligible for a Type C special services certificate in Occupational Therapy.
• Must hold an Alaska State license for Occupational Therapy.
• Valid State of Alaska driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students’ strengths and needs to develop therapy programs.
• Provide consultative services to school team members.
• Manage occupational therapy programs as per regulations.
