Qualifications

• Completion of OT academic program approved by governing board.
• Current Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice.
• New graduates welcome to apply; core staff roles may require experience; registry/travel positions may require 1 year in the specialty.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate functional abilities and determine need for OT intervention.
• Develop and implement an individualized plan of care.
• Document assessments and progress per department standards.
• Communicate results with physicians, nurses, patients and families.
• Provide direction to support staff and students as needed.
• Contribute to department productivity and process improvements.
