Job summary

Unalaska City School District is seeking qualified candidates for Occupational Therapist positions districtwide. This full-time role requires an Alaska Type C Special Services certificate and offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST POSITIONS

Position Summary

Duties include but are not limited to assessment, evaluation, program planning, consultation in development of IEPs, teaming with and training staff and families, coordination of appropriate therapeutic interventions. Experience in providing support to regular education teachers in accommodating special needs of students in an inclusive environment is desired.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited institution.
• Requires valid Alaska state occupational license, AND valid Alaska Type C Special Services certificate, with appropriate endorsement, from the Alaska Department of Education and Early Development.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience working with children having a broad spectrum of disabilities.
