Job summary

Mesa Public Schools in Arizona is seeking a certified Occupational Therapist to provide district‑wide therapeutic services that align with IEP goals and state standards. The role focuses on pediatric populations and supports students’ functional development within the classroom setting.

The OT will supervise a COTA and fieldwork students, conduct assessments, plan and monitor individualized treatment, and collaborate with teachers and families to ensure progress and safety throughout the school

Qualifications

• Must be an licensed Occupational Therapist with Arizona Board certification.
• Experience with IEPs and pediatric populations is essential.
• Ability to implement and adapt therapeutic plans in school settings.

Responsibilities

• Implements therapeutic activities to address fine motor and sensory motor deficits.
• Supervises COTA(s) and fieldwork students as required by licensure.
• Administers and documents assessments in relevant domains.
• Instructs students, teachers, and parents to support student goals.
• Develops, revises, and communicates IEP-based treatment plans.
