Job summary

Onward Education is seeking a full-time, in-person Occupational Therapist to support a school in DuPage County, Illinois for the 2026-2027 school year. Start date is ASAP with an end date of 05/28/2027, working on-site in DuPage County at 35 hours/week.

The role requires an Illinois OT license, experience with students in school settings, and the ability to develop individualized therapy plans. You will collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to integrate goals and monitor progress

Qualifications

• Illinois State OT license or certification required.
• Experience working with students in school settings.
• Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
• Strong communication and collaboration with school staff and families.
• Knowledge of sensory integration and motor development techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assess students' fine and gross motor skills and develop tailored therapy plans.
• Implement interventions to enhance students' motor, sensory, and self-care skills.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment.
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies accordingly.
• Communicate regularly with families and school staff regarding student development.
