Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of Ohio.
• Experience working in a school-based environment strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of therapeutic interventions for students from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Exceptional communication skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and ancillary staff.
• Strong documentation and organizational abilities.
• Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach.

Responsibilities

• Conducting assessments and providing direct therapy to students according to IEP goals.
• Creating engaging, evidence-based intervention plans tailored to students’ needs.
• Consulting with teachers and staff to support student achievement across the curriculum.
• Maintaining thorough and timely records of evaluations, progress, and outcomes.
• Participating in team meetings to develop strategies and modifications for student success.
• Guiding families on resources and strategies to support student growth.
