Job summary

EDU-AIDs LLC is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to support students with disabilities in a school setting. You will evaluate students, set goals to improve mobility and independence, and work with teachers to implement IEPs.

The role emphasizes collaboration with staff, parents and community, ongoing professional development, and maintaining accurate records. A valid OT license and school-based experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid licensure or certification as a licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings.
• Experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and community members.
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students’ physical abilities and relevant pediatric knowledge.
• Develop and implement individualized goals to improve mobility, strength, coordination, and functional independence.
• Collaborate closely with teachers and the child study team.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and IEP compliance.
• Participate in professional development and training as required.
• Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
