Job summary

Reach Higher ABA is staffing occupational therapists in Montgomery County Public Schools. You'll help students build the fine motor, sensory, visual-motor and self-care skills they need in class. We're also hiring licensed OTAs to work under an OT's supervision.

Schedule and pay: 1–5 days a week at MCPS schools, 7-hour school days, following the MCPS calendar (summers off); $61,000–$74,000 a year. Reach Higher ABA offers a salaried, steady school-day schedule with summers, nights and weekends

Qualifications

• Maryland OT license required.
• School-based pediatric experience strongly preferred.
• Completion of Maryland Online IEP training before first day.
• Ability to pass a full criminal background check and fingerprinting.
• Current MCPS employees aren't eligible.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students and write reports and IEP goals
• Provide push-in and pull-out OT, individually and in groups
• Recommend classroom changes and adaptive equipment
• Keep session notes and track progress; attend IEP meetings
