Qualifications

• OT degree from an ACOTE-accredited program.
• NBCOT certification (OTR) in good standing.
• Active Washington OT license or initiation of licensure transfer.
• Knowledge of IDEA, IEP processes, and educational OT model.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct school-based occupational therapy evaluations and reevaluations
• Develop individualized, functional IEP goals and provide individual and small-group OT services
• Support student needs in fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation
• Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications
• Consult with teachers, paraprofessionals, and school staff on accommodations and strategies
• Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary school teams
• Maintain accurate service documentation, progress notes, and related records
