Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a school-based contract near Wayne, MI. You will support students with diverse needs, delivering direct and consultative OT across in-person, home health, and teletherapy models.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy with active state licensure.
• Experience in school, healthcare, or home health OT settings.
• Proficient in fine and gross motor assessment and intervention.
• Familiar with teletherapy platforms and technology use in therapy.
• Strong written and verbal communication for effective collaboration.
• Ability to develop and update IEPs.
• Compassionate, flexible approach with strong organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students across ages and abilities.
• Assess, plan, and implement interventions supporting fine and gross motor development.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to facilitate participation in school activities.
• Contribute to IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and documentation to meet compliance.
• Utilize technology and teletherapy resources to deliver remote therapy when needed.
• Adapt interventions for classroom and home environments to foster skill development.
