Job summary

Rise 2 Growth is seeking a School Based Occupational Therapist to join our team serving Nassau and Suffolk Counties. You will work with students, educators, and families to support growth and development in a school setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in occupational therapy.
• New York State licensure as an Occupational Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to students in a school-based setting.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs.
• Support students with fine motor skills, sensory processing, coordination, and daily living skills.
• Complete evaluations, assessments, progress reports, and required documentation.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, related service providers, and families.
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed.
• Maintain compliance with school policies, confidentiality requirements, and HIPAA regulations.
