Job summary

ACS Consultants, Inc. is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join a school-based team. The OT will evaluate students, develop and implement therapy plans, and provide direct services to support access to education.

Collaboration with educators and families is essential to align with IEP/504 goals. Ideal candidates hold a PA OT license, possess a Master’s or Doctoral OT degree, and have experience with children in school settings.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited OT program.
• Experience working with children and adolescents, preferably in a school setting.
• Strong knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and special education processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine therapy needs in the school setting.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP/504 goals.
• Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and small group sessions.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student success.
• Document progress, maintain records, and prepare required reports in compliance with state and district guidelines.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional input for student goals.
• Train staff on classroom strategies, modifications, and adaptive equipment use.
