Job summary

The School District of Philadelphia is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide school-based therapy, collaborate with educators and families, and improve students' access to education. The role includes evaluation, planning, and delivery of OT services across diverse settings.

You will participate in IEP/504 processes, adapt activities for school use, and support students with various needs through direct and indirect OT interventions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and techniques.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, families and school staff.
• Ability to document treatment plans and progress accurately.

Responsibilities

• Implement school-based therapy to help students access their educational programs.
• Participate in 504/IEP processes and related services planning under IDEA/ADA.
• Provide direct and indirect OT services including assessment and intervention for students with various conditions.
• Develop and adjust treatment programs and educationally relevant goals.
• Coordinate with teachers, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
