Job summary

Stafford School District is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a 10-month, 0.80 FTE position. You will deliver OT services to students under IEPs, coordinate with teachers and PPTs, document progress, and handle billing and evaluations as part of a collaborative school-based team.

Required CT licensure with strong preference for pediatric/school OT experience. Salary is hourly with competitive benefits and holidays.

Qualifications

• CT OT license required or pending.
• Experience with pediatric or school-based OT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct OT services to students in accordance with their IEPs.
• Consults with team members regarding student needs and delivery of OT services.
• Conducts ongoing progress monitoring and adjusts service delivery.
• Participates in PPT meetings.
• Completes Progress Reports in CTSEDS aligned with report cards and PPTs.
• Completes Medicaid Billing in a timely manner.
• Recommends and conducts fine motor/sensory processing evaluations at PPTs.
• Maintains confidentiality as appropriate.
• Collaborates with school staff and administration.
• Other related tasks as assigned.
