Job summary

Qualifications

• OTCB certification is required.
• Rhode Island Department of Health licensure is required.
• Completion of an accredited educational program and fieldwork.
• Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese) preferred, not required.
• Citizen, residency, or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Perform Occupational Therapy evaluations and determine need for diagnostic services.
• Administer, score, and interpret standardized assessments.
• Interpret diagnostic data for professionals and families.
• Provide direct services to students in classrooms; consult with teachers.
• Participate in Evaluation Team and IEP meetings.
• Maintain case records and follow referral/tracking procedures.
• Collaborate with school personnel to modify student programs.
• Keep records to meet state regulations.
