Job summary

The Pawtucket School Department is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide school-based services to students across elementary and secondary levels in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. The role requires RI licensure as an OT, OTCB certification, CPI training, and a commitment to collaborative, outcomes-driven practice in public schools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Licensed by Rhode Island Department of Health (OT).
• OTCB certification required or eligible.
• CPI Training.

Responsibilities

• Carry out assessment and evaluation of referred students per regulations.
• Plan educationally relevant therapeutic goals for students.
• Maintain professional documentation per policies.
• Order and adapt equipment to meet therapy needs.
• Collaborate with staff and families; attend IEP meetings.
• Supervise Assistive OT staff and provide staff development.
• Monitor OT program goals and communicate progress.
