Job summary

Golden State TRIAD seeks Associate Therapists to deliver Educationally Related Mental Health Services in multiple school sites across the district. You will provide individual, group, and family counseling under supervision of a licensed Clinical Supervisor, with mileage reimbursement for site travel.

The role requires a Master’s or PhD in behavioral science, CA AMFT license, and preference for those with public-school experience and bilingual abilities.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in behavioral science from an accredited institution.
• Basic counseling skills and methods.
• Knowledge of professional ethical standards and commitment to them.
• CA AMFT license and working toward LMFT licensure required
• Experience in CA schools or educational settings preferred
• Bilingual or multilingual preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family counseling to help students achieve educational goals.
• Attend weekly supervision meetings and respond to feedback.
• Consult with staff, teachers, and parents regarding ERMHS identified students.
• Maintain professional conduct and ethical standards.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and ERMHS assessments.
• Participate in IEP and 504 meetings and contribute to planning.
• Refer students to community resources as needed.
• Evaluate counseling effectiveness and student progress.
• Coordinate with community resources to support students and families.
