ARONSEN COUNSELING SERVICES in California is seeking a Pre-Licensed Associate to provide direct clinical services under supervision. The role includes intake, assessment, treatment planning, psychotherapy, and documentation in Simple Practice, while complying with HIPAA and insurance requirements.

You will work with individuals, couples, and families, maintain supervision, complete trainings, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling Therapy or related field is required.
• Active AMFT/ASW/APCC registration with California BBS in good standing is required.
• Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Competence in evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Ability to manage caseload, document timely, and meet productivity expectations.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and basic technology.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Associate provides direct clinical services under the supervision of a licensed clinician. This role includes assessment, treatment planning, psychotherapy, and documentation. The Pre Licensed clinician supports individuals, couples, and families with a variety of mental health needs in compliance with state regulations and practice policies.

Requirements

• Full-time schedule (typically 20-35 hours per week).
• Must be under clinical supervision from our licensed LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC.
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and training.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Compensation & Benefits

• $50.00 - $52.00 an hour with 4 hours a week for supervision/notes at an Admin Rate ($18.00 an hour)
• Weekly clinical supervision twice a week at no cost.
