Job summary

MFS Tampa is seeking an Outpatient Mental Health Therapist to join our school-based program in Hillsborough County, FL. This is a 1099 contractor role based in Temple Terrace with on-site school visits and potential virtual after-hours sessions.

The successful candidate will hold a Master’s in a relevant field and Florida licensure, with experience in play therapy and family-centered care. Bilingual Spanish speakers are preferred to support diverse student needs.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in MFT, MHC, LCSW, or related field.
• Florida state licensure required prior to hire (Registered Intern or Licensed).
• Play Therapy experience.
• Children and Family experience is required.
• Spanish speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to students in a school-based setting.
• Collaborate with school mental health teams to identify and schedule clients.
• Host virtual after-hours sessions when appropriate.
