Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health’s PLEA program is seeking a Mental Health Therapist to provide therapeutic intervention in a classroom setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Hours will align with the school calendar, and the role emphasizes social, emotional, and academic development for students with special needs.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Human Services (or related field), has experience with developmental disabilities, and is proficient in Applied Behavior

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Human Services or related field required.
• Experience with special needs children required.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Strong knowledge of child development and ABA concepts.
• Able to work with a multidisciplinary team.
• ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances required.
• PA Mandated Reporter Training required.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic intervention within classroom settings.
• Conduct functional behavioral assessments.
• Develop and implement behavioral health plans.
• Support social, emotional, and academic development.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to tailor student support.
