Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking a Mental Health Technician to support children and youth in an inpatient setting. The role focuses on safety, skill-building, and implementing behavioral plans to improve daily functioning.

You will work with a clinical team, learn PBIS/ABA approaches, and contribute to a therapeutic environment at the Pennsylvania center. Training opportunities and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus two years of direct care experience or a BA with humanities credits.
• Ability to follow a clinical treatment plan and apply behavioral strategies.
• Willingness to engage with children and adolescents in a mental health setting.

Responsibilities

• Keep individuals safe and monitor for risk behaviors.
• Engage in daily activities that build social and recreational skills.
• Address and redirect inappropriate behavior per the treatment plan.
• Assist with implementing goals and objectives outlined in the plan.
