Ingham Intermediate School District is seeking a Mental Health Specialist to deliver therapeutic services, student assessments, therapy, and crisis response for eligible students. The role reports to the administrator and supports staff, parents, and students within established policies in a school setting.

Qualifications

• One-year experience in social work, counseling, or psychology in school or clinical settings.
• Knowledge of theoretical content in treatment modes for mental health practice and ability to apply these to a school-based setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health treatment services and periodic reporting of student progress.
• Provide consultative services to staff and parents within a pre-referral process.
• Develop and implement individual care plans and crisis response for eligible students.
