Job summary

Soliant Health is partnering with Michigan school districts for a 2025/2026 contract Mental Health Specialist role. You will work with general education students, individually and in groups, to support social-emotional growth and well-being.

Three openings exist: two elementary and one high school. You will collaborate with educators to implement positive behavior initiatives and provide professional learning that helps students succeed academically and emotionally.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with current Michigan LARA licensure (counseling professions).
• Eligible credentials include MSW/School Social Work, School Psychologist, LMFT, LPC/LLPC with supervision, or School Counselor credentials.
• Preferred: prior school-based or youth experience.
• Commitment to diverse learners and collaboration with educators.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct mental health interventions and social-emotional support to students.
• Lead small group or individual sessions.
• Partner with classroom staff on positive behavior programs.
• Contribute to professional learning activities for educators.
• Respond to school community needs and support crisis intervention.
