Job summary

Kids for the Future is seeking a School-Based Supervisor in Bloomington, MN to provide clinical leadership and program management for school-based mental health therapists. You will oversee clinical assessment, treatment services, and staff development, while collaborating with district partners for strong programming.

The role requires 2+ years in people management, 3–5 years delivering child mental health services, and a valid MN licensure with supervisor status.

Qualifications

• Doctoral or Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, Social Work or Clinical Counseling.
• 3–5 years of experience delivering mental health services to children and families.
• 2+ years of experience managing a team and day-to-day clinical oversight.
• Clinical supervision experience is required.
• Valid MN licensure as a Mental Health Professional and Board Approved supervisor status (LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, LP).
• Strong leadership, supervision, and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure school based clinicians provide effective assessment and therapeutic services and document accordingly.
• Support onboarding and training for SB clinicians; triage referrals with the school site.
• Collaborate with Intake to supplement SB caseload with Outpatient referrals.
• Work with clinical, support, and reimbursement staff to refine systems and improve client access.
• Provide regular clinical supervision to assist SB clinicians in developing quality services.
• Support SB clinician training and use of evidence-based practices required by the State Grant.
• Oversee clinical documentation to meet state DHS and contract requirements.
• Review and sign-off on assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Ensure MN and HIPPA data privacy requirements are followed.
• Lead hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating SB staff.
• Complete annual and quarterly evaluations; develop succession plans with HR.
