Job summary

Heritage Behavioral Health Center is seeking a Clinical Team Lead – School-Based to supervise a team of up to four School-Based Mental Health Professionals while delivering direct mental health services to students. The role requires collaboration with educators, families, and partners to implement supports and ensure quality care.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in a relevant field, IL licensure (LPC or LSW), and experience with children/adolescents in school settings; advanced licensure

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology.
• Active, unrestricted Illinois licensure as an LPC or LSW.
• Experience with children/adolescents in clinical or school settings.
• Knowledge of evidence-based mental health interventions.
• Minimum of 21 years of age; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct mental health services: assessments, counseling, crisis intervention.
• Offer clinical supervision and day-to-day oversight for up to four School-Based Mental Health Professionals.
• Coordinate care with teachers, families, and community partners.
• Develop and implement individualized support plans and school-wide mental health programs.
