Job summary

Washburn Center for Children in Minneapolis, MN seeks a school-based mental health clinician to provide assessment, treatment, and prevention services to children and families within school and community settings.

The role requires independent licensure (LICSW, LMFT, LPCC, or LP) or progress towards licensure (LGSW), with demonstrated skills in child mental health assessments and treatment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, marriage and family therapy, or social work is required.
• Doctoral degree in psychology, marriage and family therapy, or social work is desired.
• Fully licensed or near licensure in LICSW, LMFT, LPCC or LP is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic assessments and share feedback with client and family.
• Collaborate with client and family on treatment plans based on assessment results.
• Provide individual and family therapy.
• Participate in IEP meetings.
• Provide care coordination with psychiatrists and other professionals.
