Job summary

Health Partners of Western Ohio is seeking a Medical Assistant Float for the Lima and Kenton area. This is a full-time position during the School Year August through May but paid all year round; all school-based employees receive 90% of a full-time rate.

The schedule is Monday through Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm. The Medical Assistant will provide initial patient intake, assist with direct patient care, and perform routine clinical procedures under established protocols, including immunizations and

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• Successful completion of in-house training.
• At least 1 year of directly related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide initial patient intake and assist with direct patient care.
• Perform routine clinical procedures per established protocols.
• Administer immunizations and medications that are not controlled substances.
• Educate patients and families about disease and self-care within established parameters.
• Schedule and monitor patient appointments and assist with office tasks.
