Health Partners of Western Ohio is seeking a Medical Assistant Float for the Lima and Kenton area. This is a full-time position during the School Year August through May but paid all year round; all school-based employees receive 90% of a full-time rate.

(Monday through Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm) POSITION PURPOSE: Under general supervision in a patient centered medical home setting, the Medical Assistant provides initial patient intake, assists with direct patient care, and performs specialized medical procedures of a routine nature, as dictated by established clinical protocol. Work is primarily sedentary, demanding sitting, walking, lifting, and bending. Those physical movements and the degree of mobility, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination commonly associated with duties in an office setting will be performed repetitively. This also includes bending, twisting, reaching, lifting, pulling, pushing, and walking. The ability to distinguish letters and symbols and utilize telephones, computer terminals, fax machines, and copiers is required.
