Job summary

Covelo Group is seeking a School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Tacoma, WA to provide direct nursing support in a K–12 setting. Earn up to $37/hr with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule and no nights or weekends.

You will work under the district clinical team, collaborating with school staff, families, and healthcare professionals to manage student health needs and medical orders.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine and emergency nursing care to students
• Administer medications and treatments according to medical orders
• Monitor students with chronic conditions, acute needs, or other health concerns
• Support students with Individualized Healthcare Plans and Individualized Education Programs
• Maintain accurate health records, treatment documentation, and medication logs
• Review student immunization and health records for compliance with district and state requirements
• Communicate with parents, teachers, administrators, and clinical staff regarding student health needs
