Job summary

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is hiring a School Based LPN to support student health in Minnesota's public schools. You will perform nursing assessments, administer medications, and coordinate care with district nurses and families.

The role requires an LPN license and CPR certification, with responsibility for IHPs, emergency plans, and maintaining health records in accordance with state guidelines.

Qualifications

• LPN nursing license required.
• CPR Certification required.
• Experience in school health care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and clinical judgment for student health concerns.
• Administer medications and treatments per care plans.
• Develop, update, and oversee health plans (IHPs) and emergency action plans.
• Communicate with families, physicians, and district nursing leadership about student health needs.
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with state/district guidelines.
• Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate with EMS when needed.
