Job summary

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is hiring a School Based LPN to support student health in schools across Minnesota. You will perform nursing assessments, administer medications, and help manage chronic conditions according to care plans.

You will develop and oversee IHPs and emergency action plans, communicating with families and physicians to ensure optimal student health outcomes within district guidelines.

Qualifications

• LPN nursing license is required.
• CPR Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and clinical judgment for student health concerns
• Administer medications, treatments, and manage chronic conditions according to care plans.
• Develop, update, and oversee individualized healthcare plans (IHPs) and emergency action plans.
• Communicate with families, physicians, and district nursing leadership regarding student health needs.
• Maintain accurate health records, documentation, and compliance with state and district guidelines.
• Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate care with EMS when needed.
