Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support a student one-on-one in a school setting. This full-time, onsite role focuses on delivering expert care to a student with trach and ventilator needs during the school day, ensuring safety and inclusive learning.

You will monitor medical equipment, coordinate with school staff and families, and document health information per school policies.

Qualifications

• Current and valid LPN license issued by PA.
• Experience with trach and vent management.
• Experience in school settings or pediatric populations preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct, hands-on nursing care for a student with trach and vent support needs in a school setting.
• Monitor and maintain all necessary medical equipment during school hours.
• Collaborate closely with school staff, families, and medical professionals to meet the student's care plan.
• Document care and communicate health-related information as required by school policies.
• Respond promptly to urgent or emergent health events with professionalism and skill.
