Job summary

Community Health of South Florida, Inc. in Miami, FL is seeking a School-Based Health Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. You will work under supervision to provide direct nursing care, health screening, and health education to students in the school setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing Program.
• Current Florida LPN license in good standing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing services to students within the LPN scope under appropriate supervision.
• Obtain and document vital signs, height, weight, BMI, vision screening results, and other clinical information.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and maintain medication administration records.
• Assist with chronic disease management and care coordination for students.
• Support telehealth visits and ensure patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.
