Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support health rooms in elementary through high schools near Jacksonville, FL. This contract, part-time, per-diem role offers flexible scheduling with the possibility to transition to full-time as openings arise.

You will deliver daily health care for students, maintain health records, administer medications per physician orders, and participate in district orientation and trainings.

Qualifications

• Active Florida LPN license required.
• High school diploma or GED
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• School-based experience preferred
• Fingerprinting (or verification through AHCA Clearinghouse) and JLA badge required prior to start

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily health care support for students, addressing a range of needs as they arise
• Maintain accurate health records and communicate health information to relevant school staff
• Administer medication and treatments in accordance with physician orders and school policies
• Serve as a resource and advocate for student health and safety on campus
• Participate in required orientation and training at the district office before your start date

Skills
