Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide nursing services in school settings. Opportunities are available for full-time, part-time, and substitute positions, supporting students throughout the school day. You may work in one-to-one student care, bus/transportation nursing, and general school population nursing.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted LPN license in state of practice.
• Current Health Certificate if required.
• Current PPD/TB test or Chest X-ray as required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• One year nursing experience preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to students with diverse health needs (tracheostomy care, ventilator management, G-tube feedings, seizure monitoring, diabetes management, medication administration).
• Deliver 1:1 nursing care for assigned students.
• Provide transportation nursing services as needed (bus rides to/from school).
• Support health needs of the broader school population in collaboration with staff.
• Monitor student health and respond to emergencies; document accurately per policies.
• Communicate with families, school personnel, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
