Job summary

Schoolforce Solutions seeks a compassionate LPN to provide one-on-one nursing support for a student in a school setting, enabling safe access to education. You will collaborate with school staff and the healthcare team to manage medications and health needs throughout the school day.

Requirements include an accredited LPN program graduate, active AZ LPN license, and CPR/BLS, with pediatric or special needs experience preferred. Competitive pay and excellent support are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program.
• Active Arizona LPN license in good standing.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience with pediatric patients, medically fragile children, or students with special needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one nursing care for an assigned student throughout the school day.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered by the physician and school.
• Monitor health status and respond to changes in condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Maintain and monitor medical equipment for relevant devices.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid within LPN scope.
• Document nursing care, treatments, medications, and observations.
• Communicate with parents, school staff, and healthcare providers about the student's needs.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA, FERPA, and district policies.
• Promote a safe, inclusive learning environment.
