Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group, LLC in Canton, GA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a contracted, school-based placement in Canton for the 26/27 school year. This is a full-time private duty/1:1 role supporting a local K-12 district with nursing services, including a bus ride with the assigned student.

Responsibilities include continuous observation, chronic condition management, medication administration, and collaboration with school teams.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Georgia.
• Current BLS CPR/AED certification.
• Competent in pediatric skills: tube feedings, oxygen management, medications.
• Ability to work independently; school-based experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain continuous observation of the assigned student during the school day and bus ride.
• Support chronic condition management and assist with procedures per care plans.
• Provide first aid and administer medications as ordered.
• Document care and communicate with school teams.
• Accompany student during transportation and community activities when assigned.
• Report status changes to supervising RN and family.
