Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an LPN to provide onsite, full-time 1:1 care for a 5th-grade student with complex medical needs across the 2026-2027 academic year. Begin with a 6:30am pickup and bus ride, delivering medical support at school and during transit.

The ideal candidate holds a Georgia LPN license, has school-based 1:1 experience, and performs seizure management, G/J-tube feeding, oxygen administration, and med administration while coordinating with families and school staff.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia LPN license required.
• Experience providing 1:1 care in a school setting preferred.
• Clinical skills in seizure management, oral suctioning, G/J-tube feeding, oxygen administration, and medication administration.
• Familiarity with asthma care and emergency protocols.
• Strong communication and collaboration with students, families, and staff.
• Reliability and punctuality, especially for early morning starts.

Responsibilities

• Meet the student at home at 6:30am and ride with them on the bus to and from school each day, per IEP and physicians instructions
• Deliver essential medical care including G-tube feeds, oxygen administration, vital sign monitoring, oral suctioning, and support in the management of seizures or asthma as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all procedures and incidents
• Coordinate with the students family, bus staff, and school personnel to promote consistent and responsive care
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for any adverse reactions throughout the school day
• Support the student's independence and participation in educational activities wherever possible
