Job summary

AIM Educate seeks a Texas-licensed LPC to deliver school-based counseling as a related service for students receiving special education services. You will work with students, campus staff, and families to provide IEP-driven counseling and participate actively in ARD committees.

This is an independent contractor role in the Fort Worth area with on-site placements at partner districts and a calendar-aligned schedule; AIM handles contracting, scheduling, and billing.

Qualifications

• Active Texas LPC license in good standing.
• Experience in a school setting or with children/adolescents.
• Knowledge of IDEA, ARD process, and IEP development.
• Strong written documentation and time management.
• Ability to pass background checks and fingerprinting.
• Reliable transportation to assigned campuses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individual and group counseling per IEP service schedules.
• Write measurable counseling goals and report progress each grading period.
• Attend ARD committee meetings and present recommendations and data.
• Contribute counseling info to FIIEs, reevaluations, and assessments.
• Consult with teachers and administrators on behavior and social-emotional needs.
• Complete session notes and logs within 2 business days; ensure SHARS compliance.
• Maintain FERPA/IDEA confidentiality and support crisis response.
