Job summary

Assessment Intervention Management (AIM) is seeking a Texas-licensed LPC for school-based counseling services. This independent contractor role involves delivering IEP-driven counseling to students, collaborating with campus staff and families, and actively participating in ARD committees.

You will write progress-focused goals, report quarterly progress, and maintain required documentation while following FERPA, IDEA, and state licensure standards. Transportation to campuses is required.

Qualifications

• Current, active Texas LPC license in good standing.
• Experience in a school setting with children/adolescents.
• Knowledge of IDEA, ARD process, and IEP development.
• Strong written documentation and time management.
• Ability to pass a background check and fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individual and group counseling to students according to IEP service schedules.
• Write measurable counseling goals and report progress.
• Attend ARD committee meetings and present counseling recommendations and progress data.
• Contribute counseling information to FIIEs, reevaluations, and counseling assessments.
• Consult with teachers, diagnosticians, SPs, and administrators on behavior and social-emotional needs.
• Complete session notes and service logs within 2 business days; ensure SHARS documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality per FERPA, IDEA, and Texas licensure standards.
• Support crisis response following district protocols.
