• Comfortable with diabetes management and responding to routine or emergent student healthcare needs.
• Must be fingerprinted through OSPI, or willing to complete this requirement.
• Compassionate, adaptable, and team-oriented approach.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily medical care and monitor diabetic students health status.
• Administer medication, perform glucose checks, and respond to medical emergencies as needed.
• Collaborate with parents, educators, and fellow health professionals to craft and maintain individualized healthcare plans.
• Maintain detailed health records in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Educate students and staff as needed on diabetes management and preventive health practices.
• Rotate between elementary schools to ensure continuous support across multiple sites.
