Job summary

The successful candidate will assess students, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide individual and group counseling while coordinating with teachers and families to ensure seamless support services

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program, or an acceptable doctoral degree in social work.
• Current Missouri license as required by Chapter 324 RSMo.
• School-based experience and experience with students with disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical social work services to students with emotional, behavioral, social, or family challenges.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments to identify needs, strengths, risk factors, and support services.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and intervention plans based on student needs.
• Provide individual and group counseling to support students’ emotional well-being, coping skills, social development, and behavioral needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to coordinate services.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute social work expertise to student support planning and IEP-related services.
• Provide crisis intervention, risk assessment, and follow-up for students in crises.
• Connect students and families with community resources and behavioral health services.
• Maintain timely clinical and student records in line with confidentiality requirements.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions, reporting updates to the student support team.
