Job summary

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• Appropriate teaching licensure required in the relevant area.
• Demonstrated teaching skills.
• Good human relations and communication abilities.
• Ability to plan, assess, and report student progress.

Responsibilities

• Plan instruction and develop lesson plans aligned with district goals and objectives.
• Deliver engaging instruction and monitor student progress using appropriate assessment methods.
• Establish clear behavioral expectations and maintain a productive classroom environment.
• Participate in parent/teacher conferences and communicate student progress to guardians.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student needs and share best practices.
• Develop and administer student assessments and report grades to parents.
• Maintain current knowledge of subject matter and district standards.
• Pursue professional development to improve teaching skills.
