Job summary

The State of Delaware seeks a Family Student Interventionist/FCT to support identified children and families at Lock Neck Elementary School. The role focuses on de-escalation using social and emotional coping tools and home visits to build parent skills.

You will collaborate with schools and community to coordinate services, conduct family and individual therapy sessions, and prepare progress reports for ongoing care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Behavioral or Social Science or related field.
• One year of experience in crisis intervention.
• Three years' experience in case management to meet human service needs.

Responsibilities

• Intervenes in family crisis situations.
• Provides ongoing clinical assessment and treatment.
• Develops and implements treatment plans.
• Assesses progress and recommends strategies for improvement within the family.
• Conducts individual and family therapy sessions.
• Prepares clinical reports and documentation of progress.
• Provides ongoing consultation with professional staff.
